On 16/07/2017 two person namely Sri Ojin Boko (20 years), S/o Sri Keni Boko of Chandranagar, Itanagar and Sri Lenmin Modi (18 years), S/o Feroz Modi of Lower Niti Vihar, Itanagar were stuck in River Pare at Midpu while taking bath. They were rescued by Doimukh Police led by SI Padi Payang with the help of NDRF after about 05 hours of rescue efforts. The parents were so thankful that they rewarded Rs. 5,000/- only each to Papum Pare Police & 12th Bn NDRF Emchi, Doimukh in appreciation.

2 Recovery of Missing Girls Doimukh PS, Papumpare (Rural) District 08/08/2017

Two minor children namely Miss Mojida Begum (07 years appox.) and Miss Pugli Karmakar (11 years approx) were recovered by a team of child line Itanagar Don Bosco Youth Centre from A-Sector Doimukh with the help of Doimukh Police on 08/08/2017. The recovered children were reportedly engaged as child labourers according to complaint received by child line Itanagar. Accordingly child line team took custody of recovered children.

3 Recovery of Kidnapping girl Doimukh PS, Papumpare (Rural) District 05/08/2017

Doimukh PS Case No. 23/17 U/S 363/376 IPC R/W SEC 6 POCSO ACT.

In connection with the above case, the kidnapped girl Miss Parbina Begum, a school going girl of Emchi Village was recovered on 05/08/2017 from Laluk, Lakhimpur District, Assam with the help of Assam Police. She was kidnapped by one Anasul Islam from Emchi Village on 9/07/2017.

4 Recovery of Kidnapping girl Doimukh PS, Papumpare (Rural) District 24/08/2017

On 30/08/2017 at about 2030 hrs. an FIR as received from one Junior Teacher Sagalee Hr. Sec. School that one Md. Sahidul Islam who was working as labourer at Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Sagalee kidnapped his minor sister aged 10 years, a student of Govt. ME School, Sagalee on 24/08/2017 and taken to his village in Assam. Hence Sagalee PS C/No. 09/2017 U/S 363/376 IPC R/W SEC 6 OF POCSO ACT 2012 was registered. after thorough discussion of source inputs/information about the location of the accused with both the OC Sagalee PS and the OC Doimukh in the late night, SP Tumme Amo immediately constituted a team and directed Inspr. B. Tangjang, OC PS, Doimukh, ASI Nabam Tate, I/C Khola Camp Naka, L/Nk. T. Ajo Licha, Ct. T. Budha, IRBn, Ct. Dorjee Phurpa and Ct. D. Basar to rush to Silonibari, Assam under Lakhimpur PS. On 31/08/2017 at 0030 hrs. the team recovered the victim girl aged 10 years a student of Class -V and arrested accused Md. Sahidul Islam, aged 22 years, S/o Md. Abdul Hakim from this house at village Orang No.1 Silonibari, Lakhimpur, Assam. It is found that on 24th August 2017 the accused kidnapped the minor girl from Banderdewa after calling her from Sagalee and took her to his home and on 28/08/2017 entered into marriage with the minor girl at Notary Public, Lakhimpur by changing the victim's name to Sahiba Begum and showing her age as 19 years after alleged conversion from Christianity to Islam. The accused was produced before the court which has been sent him to 14 days judicial custody.

5 Arrest of murderer Doimukh PS, Papumpare (Rural) District 25/09/2017

On 02/09/2017 a case is registered at Balijan PS C/No.13/17 U/S 302/201 IPC on receipt of FIR from Sri Nabam Niki, 88 years, HGB, Holongi, S/o Lt. Nabam Tade, Village Holongi, PO/PS Balijan, Papumpare (Rural) District of sighting one unknown decomposed male dead body with hands tied behind and thrown in a pit in a nearby jungle at Itanagar-Holongi Highway.

The Papumpare Police under the supervision of Sri Tumme Amo, SP Yupia constituted a team with Dr. Neelam Nega (APPS), DySP Yupia, Inspr. B. Tangjang, OC PS Doimukh, SI B. Krong (IO) OC PS Balijan, ASI N. Rama, ASI Nabam Tate, Civil Police and IRBn Personnel. The party immediately started investigating into the apparent murder case. As the body was in decomposed state and identity could not be established, messages were flashed. During Post Mortem Examination of the deceased, a tattoo mark "Raling" was noticed engraved on the deceased left leg calf muscle and another on left hand which was not so visible. As the name Raling is generally used by people of Seppa and crime scene suggested a horrendous murder, information were at once shared with Seppa Police. From the efforts, the deceased's identity was established as Raling Sangdo, younger brother of accused Taling Sangdo who is now under judicial custody in C/W Seppa PS C/No. 91/16 U/S 302/201 IPC.

The team identified the family and relatives of the complainants of Seppa PS C/No. 91/16 and carried out raids simultaneously at Karsingsa and Itanagar. The party brought some suspects and thoroughly interrogated them. From interrogation, the team zeroed down on the three suspected active mobile numbers (1) Parwa Tawe (2) Kongo Tawe and (3) Kor Tawe. Their details including active mobile numbers possible hideouts, CDR were collected. Based on the analysis of the information collected against the suspected perpetrator, raids were conducted at Seppa and other locations continuously.

Ultimately on 25/09/2017 the three suspected namely (1) Parwa Tawe, age 20 years approx, S/o Lt. Kali Tawe (2) Kongo Tawe, age18 years approx, S/o Lt. Kali Tawe (3) Kor Tawe, age 24 years approx, S/o Lt. Jitung Tawe all of Tawe Village, East Kameng District have been nabbed from Naharlagun.
