A written FIR was received from Anil Mahato aged - 35 yrs to the effect that on 16/09/2016 at around 1645 hrs near Shiv Mandir way to Kimin two bikes consisting of seven persons stop his Oil Tanker by blocking the road with their bikes then two of them get inside in front seat and snatched his vehicle key and started to beating with local dao and punch, again they pull him and kicked him, they also snatched his locket Rs. 7000/- and taken one Nokia mobile Rs 1800/- one ATM card and his purse with cash.
The I/O of the case SI A. Phassang and his team arrested the alleged accused Luchit Chandra Karmakar, Raj Karmakar and Madhu Boruah on the same day.

Ziro PS Case No. 30/15 U/S 457/380 IPC & Ziro PS Case No. 35/15 U/S 457/380 IPC.
After receiving several complaints of burglaries, Lower Subansiri SP T Amo constituted a team which laid trap and caught the burglars. Thus in a major breakthrough, District police busted a gang of burglars arresting five of its members namely Yom Raja, Yom Tabung, Toko That, Sanjay Gurung and Dangu Habung and recovered large quantities of electronics goods, including three laptops, two LCD color TVs, four computer monitors, 1 printer, 3 set of sound box, two keyboards, one UPS and local beads, bangles etc. from their possession. The gang had been active over the few months in Ziro-Hapoli Township.
|Lauding the Ziro police for cracking the burglary cases of Hapoli town and its adjoining colonies, the Hapoli Bazar committee (HBC) has requested the authority not to release the nabbed burglars. The committee hoped that Ziro police would continue its efforts in order to maintain Law & order problem of the Hapoli town and its adjoining colonies.|

Ziro PS Case No. 29/15 U/S 384/188/120(B)/34 IPC R/W Section 25(1A) ARMS ACT.
Three extortionists who were reportedly extorting work orders and money from the various HODs and work executing agencies at Hapoli areas. On receipt of the information, DySP John Pada along with SI T Messar and IRBN personnel conducted search operation and apprehended the three extortionists namely Sri Dake Tai @ Yangda, Sri Rima Bodo and Sime Killo on 23/03/15 with 2 nos. of country made 7.65 caliber pistols with 51 live rounds ammunitions, 6 nos of mobile phones, 13 nos of SIM cards and other incriminating documents.
Hence Ziro PS Case No. 29/15 U/S 384/188/120(B)/34 IPC R/W Section 25 (1A) Arms Act registered and the DySP John Pada taken up the case for investigation.
|In connection with above noted case / good work done by the district police, all the citizens of the Lower Subansiri district particularly of Ziro appreciated the District Police for nabbing the 3 extortionists.|
|5||Recovery of Missing Children||Ziro PS, Lower Subansiri District||02/12/2014||
Ziro PS Case No. 78/14 U/S 363 IPC.
On 02/12/2014, a written compliant received from Smti Ngiklyang Yamang W/O Lt Ngilyang Tago of village Lempia that her daughter Miss Ngilyang Sumpa (17 yrs) has been missing from ADC Colony, Hapoi since 13/11/2014. Accordingly, Ziro PS Case No. 78/14 U/S 363 IPC registered and SI K Komo took up the investigation of the case. During the course of investigation, the I.O. under the supervision of the SP received information from source that the missing girl was hiding somewhere at Bhalukpong, West Kameng District. The police team, mother and relatives of the missing girl rushed to Bhalukpong and recovered the girl from the house of Smti Tage Mamung who is a cousin of Miss Ngilyang Sumpa. After all legal formalities, she was handed over to her parents.
|6||Solving sensational crimes||Ziro PS, Lower Subansiri District||05/10/2014||
Ziro PS Case No. 61/14 U/S 325/302 IPC and Ziro PS Case No. 63/14 U/S 376(1)/325/34 IPC R/W Section 4 OF POCSO ACT, 2012.
A teenage boy and a girl were sitting in a dilapidated building at Govt. Higher Secondary school, Ziro on 5/10/2014 night. Two unidentified men visited the same area. They beat up the boy and under intimidation raped the girl by turn and left the place of occurrence after robbing the mobile phone of the boy. The boy was evacuated to Itanagar for medical treatment but he died there before medical treatment. Hence, Ziro PS Case No. 61/14 U/S 325/302 IPC and Ziro PS Case No. 63/14 U/S 376(i)325/34 IPC R/W section 4 of POCSO Act 2012 were registered and the cases were investigated by SI T Messar and SI Ige Lollen respectively. These were totally clueless cases. Pressure was mounting on police and administration from women organization, youth organization, student organization and even form State Women Commission of Arunachal Pradesh. The police team started combing operation in the entire Hapoli area and rounded up many suspected persons and interrogated but in vain.
The police team led by SP on his resuming duties on 12/10/2014 was restlessly re-working on the case, pieced together all the little and apparently insignificant evidences and ultimately the team zeroed in on the two accused persons and arrested them on 14/10/2014. On interrogation the said persons broke down and confessed to the crime. Both the cases were finalized on 05/12/2014 vide CS no. 47/14 and CS No. 46/14 dated 5/12/2014 respectively.
|The aggrieved family members of Lt Hage Hassang led by his father Hage Richo and mother Smti. Hage Yabyang met SP Ziro Sri Tumme Amo, OC PS Ziro, IO of case and all the police personnel, who took pain in arresting the accused and expressed their thankfulness to the District Police. Apatani Students Union and Apatani Youth Association has also appreciated SP Ziro Shri Tumme Amo, OC PS Ziro, IO of the case and his team for nabbing the culprits involved in the heinous crime of murder of Lt. Hage Hassang and rape of a minor.|
|7||Recovery of Missing Children||Ziro PS, Lower Subansiri District||03/08/2014||
Ziro PS Case No. 38/14 U/S 341/365/34 IPC.
An 18 year old college girl was kidnapped from the route to Saint Claret College on 03/08/14. Hence Ziro PS Case No. 38/14 U/S 341/365/34 IPC was registered and the case was endorsed to SI T. Messar for investigation. There was no evidence as to who had kidnapped and where the kidnapped girl was taken to. A combing operation was carried out to trace the victim and nab the accused person. Meanwhile, student organizations started mounting pressure by issuing ultimatum to the police for restitution of the victim. On 05/08/14, the victim was rescued by the District Police while being taken to Itanagar via Ziro and one of the accused person was arrested. Later other four accused persons were also arrested and the victim was handed over to her parents.
|8||Helping women in Distress situation.||Raga PS, Lower Subansiri District||22/05/2014||
Raga PS Case No. 28/14 U/S 366 IPC.
On 22/05/14, a written complaint received from Shri Gyom Tacho S/O Gyom Tada of village Kamporijo under Raga circle that on 19/05/14 one Shri Basmity Raja, a labour working under Shri Rakhi Tadik of Kamporijo village had kidnapped his sister Smti Rakhe Yajo (18 yrs.) with intention to forcefully marry her. During the course of investigation, the victim Smti Rakhe Yajo has been rescued / brought back from Assam and after doing all legal formalities she was handed over to her parents.
